Celebrated universally every year on January 1 in various innovative ways, the trend to observe this date as an important day in the calendar has spread globally. People at midnight hold special events, entertaining activities and grand celebrations to welcome the New Year. In many regions of the world, it is celebrated as a public holiday and the offices, institutions and commercial activities remain closed to observe Happy New Year. The New Year 2012 falls on Sunday and is approaching and people are busy with their plans to celebrate the advent of the day with their own unique ideas. 

Although the time zones of New Year festivity vary but celebrations for New Year festival kick off in advance. މިދިޔަ އަހަރެކޭ އެއްފަދައިން މިއަހަރުވެސް ޑޫޒިއަންސް ފުޓްސަލް ކަޕް ބޭއްވުމަށް ވަނީ ހަމަޖެހިފައެވެ. މި މުބާރާތުގައި ޑީ.ކޭ.ޖީ އިން އެއްވެސް އަހަރެއްގައި ބައިވެރިވެފައެއް ނުވެއެވެ. އެހެން ކަމުން މި އަހަރުވެސް ޑީކޭޖީ ގެ ކުޅުންތެރިން ވަނީ އެހެން ޓީމުތަކަށް ކުޅުމަށް ދޫކޮށްފައެވެ.

މިދިޔަ އަހަރުގެ މުބާރާތުގައި ސްޕައި އެފްސީ އަށް ތަށި ކާމިޔާބު ކޮށްދިނުމުގައި ޑީކޭޖީގެ ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ހިއްސާއެއް ވެއެވެ.

މި މުބާރާތުގައި މި އަހަރު ބައިވެރިވީ ހަތަރު ޓީމެވެ. އެއީ ސްޕައި އެފްސީ، ސްޕައި ސްޕޯޓްސް ކުލަބް، ސިނާރިއޯ އަދި އޭސީ މިލާނެވެ. މި މުބާރާތުގެ ފުރަތަމަ މެޗް ކުޅުމަށް ހަމަޖެހިފައިވަނީ މިމަހުގެ 20ވަނަ ދުވަހުއެވެ. މި މެޗްގައި ބައްދަލުކުރާނީ ސްޕައި އެފްސީއާއި ސިނާރިއޯއެވެ. މުބާރާތުގެ އިތުރު މެޗްތައް ކުޅެން ހަމަ ޖެހިފައިވާ ގޮތުގެ ތަފްސީލް ތިރީގައި މިވަނީއެވެ.

މިއަހަރުގެ މުބާރާތުގައިވެސް ސްޕައި އެފްސީ އަށް ރަނގަޅު ކާމިޔާބީއެއް ލިބުމަކީ ޑީކޭޖީއަށްވެސް ލިބޭނެ ފަޚުރެކެވެ. އެހެން ކަމުން ޑީކޭޖީގެ ފަރާތުން ސްޕައި އެފްސީ އަށް ރަނގަޅު ކާމިޔާބީ އަކަށް އެދެމެވެ.

D Squad Won the title of MJS Football Tournament 2011 by their first participation.

Ibrahim Shaheem has scored in the final of 11th MJS 11th football tournament 2011 to ensure that D Squad FC lift the trophy as they ended their first tournament in style.


D Squad FC beat IMG by 3 goals to 1, the other goals scored by Malik Ab.Gafoor and Najih Jameel for D Squad FC while the only goal for IMG was scored by Jekey.
It was the first time Shaheem has started a match in the tournament thanks for a suspension to their first choice striker, Hassan Shareef due to two yellow cards. Earlier in the tournament, Ibrahim Shaheem came on as a late substitute for the match against Fun Peace.
